This site (theinsiderspost.com) uses analytics cookies set by Google Analytics 4, and only after you accept performance cookies. We do not run advertising trackers, third-party social embeds, or cross-site profiling. The rest of this page describes each cookie in detail and how to manage it.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file your browser stores on your device when you visit a website. Cookies let the site remember your actions and preferences between page loads or visits. Some are strictly necessary for the site to work; others require your consent under the ePrivacy Directive (implemented in Spain via the LSSI) and the GDPR.

2. Cookies we use

The Insiders Post uses exactly one category of non-essential cookies:

Both cookies are only set after you accept performance cookies on the consent banner. If you click Deny, no analytics cookies are set and the Google Analytics tag is not loaded. Consent Mode defaults remain set to analytics_storage: 'denied'.

3. Cookies we do not use

No advertising cookies (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, etc.).
No social-media tracking pixels (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, etc.).
No cross-site profiling or fingerprinting.
No affiliate-network cookies.

CookieFirst is the consent-management UI, not an analytics tool. Its necessary cookiefirst-consent cookie records the categories you accepted or denied so the site can respect your choice.

4. Strictly necessary technologies

The site uses a single strictly necessary cookie-free mechanism: a Cloudflare bot-management cookie (__cf_bm) that protects the origin from automated abuse. This cookie is exempt from consent under the ePrivacy Directive because the service would be materially degraded without it. It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity and contains no personal data.

The site uses CookieFirst as its consent manager. CookieFirst stores the first-party cookiefirst-consent cookie on our domain (theinsiderspost.com). It records category choices and the applicable configuration version, and expires after approximately 12 months.

5. How to manage cookies

You have four ways to change your cookie preferences:

Footer link: every page of this site includes a Manage cookies button in the footer. Clicking it re-opens the consent banner so you can change your decision.
Browser controls: every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies for any site. Check your browser's privacy settings for the exact steps.
Google Analytics opt-out: install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to disable tracking across every site that uses GA.
Email us: write to [email protected] and we will clear the consent entry on our side.

6. Changes to this policy

We will update this page if we add, remove, or change the purpose of any cookie. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will also be announced in the consent banner the next time you visit.
