Methodology
- Rows are open-market purchases (code P) and sales (code S) of non-derivative securities from processed Form 4 filings, the same rows the screener lists for each sector, side and date range.
- Windows use filing dates in UTC, not trade dates. A 30-day window covers 30 calendar dates ending today; the prior period is the 30 dates before it.
- Sectors are custom groupings of each issuer's SEC SIC code (catalog sec-sic-2026-11-01-v1), not GICS.
- Unclassified issuers have no SIC on file, conflicting SICs across their records, or a SIC outside the catalog. 75 of 892 active companies in this window are unclassified.
- Dollar values are disclosed transaction values; rows without a disclosed value count as transactions but add no dollars. Net is purchases minus sales.
- Buyers, sellers and companies are distinct reporting owners and issuers. The all-sectors row counts each once, so it can be lower than the sum of the sector rows.
- Cluster companies had at least one purchase carrying the cluster-buy signal in the period.
- This page is refreshed about every 30 minutes; the screener reads live data, so filings from the last few minutes can differ.
- Change vs prior shows n/a when the prior period had no dollars to compare against. Post-filing returns are not shown here.
